Ahh i remember the days i would just throw friggin haymakers at anyone in the living room with reckless abandon, like Nintendo saw coming from a mile away! and as for the ending, i now have a new retro gaming project to mull over!

This was enjoyable, not too extreme and a damn fine showcase of not only awesome and historic cartoons and games of the past, but also an incredibly well done mixing of two big Ns from two different sides of the world! A Newgrounds themed WarioWare title? QUICK! Send this dumptruck of cash to the boys at the R&D sublevel, we got memes to forge like Thor making Stormbreaker!

[Nori and Zin - Breakfast (PILOT)]

(I know i had a minor role in this, witnessed a lot of the production process and am also a good friend of yours, but imma try to be as balanced as i can.)
For your first cartoon over 5 minutes long with multiple VAs, original musics by ShadyVox (who worked with Piemations a number of times), and an art style sitting somewhere between adorable and "Wow does Zin's ass look great today!", I firmly believe you did a fantastic job making this.
2020 and the effects of the pandemic during that year really sucked, and thats something just about anyone can agree with. I'm sure many other creators experienced problems like you did during the time spent making this cartoon. It's not a point meant to put you down, its more meant to be a relatable understanding of circumstances.
I definitely see an improvement of skill as the video progresses, some body movements are not as clean in the first 30 seconds as they are after 3:30. I view this as a good quality, not as a flaw. All kinds of things happen in the span of two years, including improvement.
One thing i will point out that i see flaws with is the comedy. There were a number of times i laughed and adorb-gushed, like at the unified "Awwwww" of disappointment. But there is plenty of room for improvement with funny situations which makes me want to see more of what you could be capable of!
Again, its your first pilot. Yeah its not perfect, but nothing truly is. Good visuals, voices, music, and easy intro plot. The humor dial could be turned up more, but its definitely there! So for all that, I rate it 4.5/5 stars!

I couldn't stop smiling after Gentles started doing his thing.
The beginning was what you would expect until you got hit with the unexpected. A vague description can lead to any number of things happening within the events. This was taken in the least predicted direction which makes it one of the best ways you could have taken it. Innuendo is a useful thing if not abused. By taking the plot from "Talking Dog wants dog porn" to "Dog finds purpose and is a guest on Jimmy Fallon's talk show" is something i found to be unpredictable halfway through. Upon realizing he can spit hot lyrical fire, i figured you would bring things around full circle.
Nostalgic Joke, Naughty Dog, Finding Purpose, Jimmy Fallon.
What more could you ask for in a short cartoon?
BTW i didnt go 5 stars because ive been a fan of The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson until he stopped doing it, so most other late night talk shows just don't do it for me. But thats more of a personal opinion than legit critique, yet you get a good score from me so that's great!

dating a girl who can tie a knot from a cherry stem with her tongue would be a damn good reason to break your phone to pieces with one bare hand.
the only downside would be for her to use those tongue skills to slurp you up entirely like a spaghetti string. shoes and all!

fantastic art style, very fitting music, and a damn good twist ending! all that gets you a 4.5 from me, but a 5 would have had to involve a little extra content or something. not sure what exactly, but still, this is a very good animation!
