Why does Blark and Son on Comedy Central remind me of the Nicktoon puppet horror show? Looking back, Mr. Meaty was legit terrifying!

Instead of some big project that would take the effort of an entire team, im just gonna make something involving friends, cool ideas, and an 8ft tall gorilla that can punch explosions and eat a LOT of bananas. The script is done, now to animate it!

I'm pretty much forcing myself to make a decision about what to do, and this project has been on the back burner for far too long. Years even! But when I finish it and upload it to the internet, it will be on both Newgrounds and YouTube! So YAY for actually trying to make an effort.

Not right there at skill for a series. Im still working on it, trust me! Just gotta learn more on ways to make it easier for me and what not. Good thing i bought an eBook on "Ways to Cheat in Adobe CS6". For aspiring animators, its a pretty good buy!

     Man have I been busy! The animated portion for the first half of the episode has been quite good so far. I intend to make each episode a two-parter, each half lasting about 6-8 minutes so the files aren't that big when rendering, encoding and all that. I already have more than 30 seconds of the animation made, but i have yet to add in any voice acting or sounds to it all. But that's not the only good news about this, cuz i have obtained some good motivation!

My psychologist and I were talking about my skills on anything that could be used to make some form of income. Clearly i couldnt keep up with the pace of college life, and like heck do i have the ability to professionally weld or machine things at an industry standard. So if all I can do is draw and animate, why not turn that into self-employment? Therefore, we set a goal for the first episode. By March 27th, I am to complete about 3-4 minutes of animation. Given that i only do my part time job on Thursdays, I still have plenty of time to work on this. I mean its 2 weeks since i started the goal, and heck, i bet i could do at least 5 minutes before the goal ends. (provided i don't get too distracted by anything distoooh new Game Grumps!)

As for voice actors, i already have at least two or three in mind. I just have to complete enough of the animation and script before I show it to them and see if they're interested.

Wow, more than a year since my last news update! Holy shit...

Well, first things first, i have been somewhat busy with things in life. I quit college because i suck at it. I've been trying to find a job for more than a year and so far i only have a one-day part-time every thursday. And I have recently found my spark for animation once again! So let's see if I can still ride this beast!

(yes i know i have nothing on here, but i have stuff on DeviantArt, YouTube, and a little bit of Tumblr.)

Good news though! I have decided to make a series that i wanted to make in college. A lot of the details are on my DA page, but a lot of the stuff about the story i wanted to tell mainly consisted of how to tell it. Either Video Game, Webcomic, or Flash Series, I couldn't decide on back then. Until now. Good thing i have the first episode as a project file on here! So i know i have the skills to animate this whole thing, for i have been practicing, learning, and relearning old and new things alike. But a voice actor, im not very good at being, for my voice is kinda low and suited to brute or evil characters or just large guys in general. So as much as i want to be the lead role, i know i can't. So instead of hunting for jobs, ill be hunting for voice actors and musicians as well. I already have a good friend who is a writer, so theres some of the work done. But a good video is easily a crappy one if there is no sound to anything that is happening.

Im actually pretty psyched about the whole thing and i know ill be able to do some good on this project. As long as i remember to take my focus meds. at least every thursday when at work and not animating.

OK, so ive been having fun with the arty stuff i can make with my tablet. Because of life crap and college, i havent done much.

But now that i have left college until next year, i now have plenty of time to animate stuff.

Finally got me a good graphics tablet, so now my animations will not be half assed and unfinished. Yay.

And speaking of asses and unfinished yay's, i need to take a poop.
